Mission Statement

Regional Athletics is a non-profit league formed to supports children who are currently under served in athletic opportunities and scholarships.  The league fills the gaps throughout the state by collaborating with others. Our mission to serve those who choose non-traditional education homeschool, charter public school,and private school. 

Our  teams promote, develop and nurture in every child and family the Christian values that are core to the Fresh Start Community Development Corporation  Regional Learning Center: faith, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  The league will encourage teamwork, sportsmanship and fairness while striving to build the self-esteem and physical ability of each child through equal participation and reinforcement.
 
The success of the program is dependent on volunteers. Most of our coaches are volunteers and college students who want to share their time, talent and treasure to develop our athletes in the sport skills, character and fair play.
 
Our goals for the league are to:


    •    Promote Christian values in every child, family and the community
    •    Build each athletes self-esteem
    •    Honesty in action and words
    •    Respect of others, ourselves and the environment
    •    Responsibility for actions and duties
    •    Faith in self, others and God
    •    Caring for self and others
    •    Teach the skills of sports
    •    Build good relationships among peers, families and volunteers
    •    Create a fun, Christian atmosphere for everyone

Vision Statement

We envision a diverse, vibrant, and safe community where athletes are healthy and successful. We will partner with others to enhance the quality of life of families and individuals.

The Regional Learning Center seeks to serve all children with local workforce technology and soft skills.  We hold students to rigorous academic standards which will successfully prepare them to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. Supported by the collaborative effort of staff, parents and community members, our students will exhibit academic and technological competencies, which will enable them to achieve career goals, become lifelong learners and make meaningful contributions to a multilingual, multicultural society
